Social Media Speaks Out About The Senseless School Shooting in Connecticut

Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and every other social media site out there has broken out with sympathies to the victims and their families of today’s senseless school shooting where at least 20 children and 6 adults have been killed. Companies have opted to post their sympathies and nothing more for the day out of respect for those that have lost their lives. People have taken to Twitter to reflect on what’s important in life, spread the word about the latest updates and to vent about gun control laws and the sanity of the shooter.

While social media can be  a great place for immediate updates sometimes the information can be incorrect. People Tweet something incorrect and before you know it someone’s Twitter account is being spammed as the Twitter account of the gunman.
