Get to know Kim Randall
Kim is a social brand strategist and brand graphic designer, a recovering blogger, and a small business owner with a deep appreciation for smart technology, innovative tools, and the ever-changing social media landscape. She tends to dive headfirst into emerging platforms and trends, then translate what actually works into practical strategies businesses can use.
Before marketing, she was a preschool teacher, which explains why education still sits at the core of her work. Today, that shows up through teaching brand design and visual storytelling with Canva, in partnership with local and national organizations, including the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, Pradip C. Patel InLab@HC, and Working Women of Tampa Bay. The goal is simple, helping business owners feel confident creating content that actually reflects their brand.
She’s also been part of marketing and branding panels across Tampa Bay, and in 2010 gave a TEDx Talk on how social media was beginning to reshape how we connect, communicate, and do business.
She co-founded and co-chaired a nonprofit event raising awareness and over $100K for suicide prevention in support of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.
Kim also co-founded Tampa Bay’s Startup Weekend and served as a co-organizer for five events, bringing entrepreneurs together to build and test business ideas in an intensive, collaborative weekend format.
Long before social media felt like a requirement, she was co-organizing Social Media Day events across Tampa Bay, helping build connection and community around something that, at the time, most businesses were still trying to figure out.
She’s served on the Board of Advisors for Hillsborough College’s Entrepreneurship Program and on the Business and Marketing Board of Advisors for Keiser University, supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and marketers.
In 2026, alongside her ongoing client work, Kim stepped into the Managing Director role for The Comedy Forum and Christine O’Leary LLC. She runs the engine behind the scenes, overseeing operations, client experience, and the details that keep everything moving and aligned.
It’s part strategy, part execution, part air traffic control, and occasionally making sure nothing catches on fire.
Clarity → Strategy → Growth.
